Generative AI in Mental Healthcare
This research focuses on leveraging generative AI to support mental health self-management. Current efforts include developing generative AI–based tools to support mental health and well-being, creating assessment frameworks for evaluating such tools prior to deployment, and examining how individuals use general-purpose large language models to seek mental health information, guidance, and support.
